The last 6 weeks have been very exciting here at Kimbolton Wines!
We have released our first wine that forms part of our Regional Series, being a 2020 Barossa Valley Mataro / Shiraz Blend. To find out more about this wine see below for more details.
4 gold medals were awarded at the 2022 Langhorne Creek Wine show with the 2021 Kimbolton Montepulciano taking out the trophy for Best red or white wine made from Alternative or other varieties(s). To top the day off we were also named "Producer Of The Year" which is awarded to the winery with the 3 highest awarded wines in show.
In April, Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine announced Kimbolton Wines as the Star Cellar Door and Best Small Cellar Door in Langhorne Creek for 2022
To top it all off this week we were completely blown away to be named as a finalist for the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion for the Dark Horse category. What is a Dark Horse Winery you may ask? Dark Horses are wineries that are not new to the Companion but that have received a 5-star rating for the first time this year. An achievement of which we are extremely proud.
