We are over the moon to have been recognised as the winner of the highly competitive 'Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries' category at the South Australian Tourism Awards held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Thursday night.
It was an honourable and proud moment to accept this award in front of a room full of dedicated, hard-working people who work in our state's tourism industry, and with strong supporters by our sides.
When we go back to this time last year, when we won the silver medal in this category, it becomes even more significant to us.
Congratulations to Kies Family Wines in the Barossa and Kangaroo Island Spirits on their silver and bronze medals, and great efforts to the other exceptional finalists as well. Thanks to the Tourism Industry Council of South Australia for putting on another great event.
We're excited to continue giving our visitors a genuine cellar door experience that brings families together in a relaxed and interactive environment while also providing a taste of Langhorne Creek with our range of traditional and alternate varieties, and now a lightly spritzed rosé and tawny port.
Also topping off our week, Kimbolton has been selected as one of three finalists in SALIFE's 'Absolute Family Day Out' category of the Absolute Best Awards alongside Monarto Safari Park and Tree Climb Adelaide. We'll get to find out more at the gala night in December.
