Late last month our team managed to bring home FOUR TROPHIES from the 2023 Langhorne Creek Wine Show, including being named Producer of the Year! Two of our favourite red wines, the 2020 Rifleman Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2022 Montepulciano were named as their best in their categories (with the Monte taking out not only the best alternative wine, but also the inaugural Chair of Judges Trophy).

What made the wins even more special is that we were up against some of the best wine in Australia coming out of the ‘Creek this year, plus a record number of entries. The show judged 225 entries from 32 exhibiting wineries, with 137 medals awarded – that’s a lot of wine to taste!

To celebrate our award-winners, we'll be offering our loyal mailing list customers 10% off the 6-bottle cases of the Monte during June (2023), when you mention this email in cellar door (or you can phone through an order and speak to our amazing cellar door staff).

The June Long Weekend (10-12 June) is just around the corner, and we'd love to see you all at our Cellar Door. We've been working hard to create great food and wine experiences, and you can come along and warm up with a red (or white) wine tasting flight, a delicious affogato (flavoured by our warming Thelma Tawny), wine and cheese pairings, grazing plates or even some delectable little sweet flights for the kiddos (see more below).

We'll also be opening some of our limited, ultra premium LG Cabernet Sauvignon for tasting over the long weekend. Priced at $105 per bottle, this one only comes to the cellar door tasting table for special occasions - and we think this long weekend is one such moment! We are currently on the 2014 vintage after a few years of cellaring the LG, a beautiful wine we first bottled for Nicole and Brad's father's 75th birthday.
